Like the American Way

This retro poster is from a billboard campaign that was run by the National Assoiciation of Manufacturers in the 1930s and 1940s. I do not know if America still has the world's highest standard of living. If we do not, that is cause for celebration not shame, as it shows that since the 1930s we have brought much of the world with us to great prosperity. However the phrase "There's no way like the American way" is still true. This fourth of July, we remain as proud and grateful to be American, as were the 1930s and 1940s generations.
