CAIR - True to Form ~~ The Washington-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) contacted a New York radio station on Friday complaining about a song it aired that mocked victims of the recent tsunami in South Asia. The radio station, HOT 97 FM, issued a public apology; "HOT 97 regrets the airing of material that made light of a serious and tragic event. We apologize to our listeners and anyone who was offended."
Interesting it is, that the song which CAIR found to be so offensive, is now posted on the front page of their web site, with an invitation from them to "Click Here to Hear the Song" >>. Very telling.
Of course, true to his obnoxious form, last night, Bill O'Reilly played the song on his TV show, followed with a discussion of how outrageous it is and that it should not be allowed on the air, in his opinion.
